ILP and Protected Area Permit

Tourist ILP

₹500 per person, valid 30 days. Payment-gateway charges are extra.

Documents should be JPG or PNG, not over 300KB. A guarantor is not required for a tourist.

Protected Area Permit

A foreign national also needs a Protected Area Permit. Applications are made through the Indian e-FRRO portal. Register with the Foreigners Registration Officer of the district within 24 hours of arrival. This guide does not claim any 2026 relaxation.
